I'm just a 15 year old high school student in the Philadelphia suburbs with a love for food. I have an apprenticeship at Lacroix at the Rittenhouse, and will be writing about my experiences there, as well as anything else that strikes my palate.
I am thrilled to see what you have accomplished at your age... just ofund you yesterday, so haven't learned too much about you. Great segment! I am a professional foods educator in a public middle school in Edmonton Alberta Canada... and was searching for students writing about food. I have you linked and will keep an eye out. I will share your story with my students once I read to find it... it is here, I hope! Are you a member of Slow Food? I find that teaching my students the importance of responsible stewardship is as important as teaching them the basics of cooking. what do you think? Warmly - and wanting to know... Valerie
