Hershey's Cookies and Cream Blondies

I made these blondies as my secret santa gift to my buddy whose favorite candy is Hershey's cookies and cream bars. They're absolutely loaded with cut-up chunks of the bar. Go here to learn my easy recipe for extremely rich, dense, delicious blondies.

Hey, I have a blog for the Philadelphia area called Wing Quest, the goal of which being to find the best wings in Philadelphia. I was just curious as to what it would take to have our blog featured on your site or even just a link shout out. We would be more than glad to return the favor. Our web address is Wingquest2011.blogspot.com

Thanks!

I've just tried to make this recipe twice now and am having a heck of a time getting it to come out. The first time I used a butterfinger topping, which I thought was to blame for the dismal results, but today I tried 1 cup of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips and still it is not so good! It is SUPER sweet and doesn't quite seem done even though it should be, and if I keep cooking it, it just starts to get hard and way over-cooked.

Is there something missing in the basic recipe? I noticed there is no baking powder or soda required, which seemed unusual - is that the problem? Or is it just operator error? I suppose I could just have a different taste than you and it is not my type of treat, but I usually find your recipes/opinions quite dead-on and this definitely turned out pretty much inedible, both times. Please let me know your thoughts - thanks!

anonymous. no. You're doing everything right. These brownies come out extremely dense and sweet and rich--to much so for some people.

My name is next to the definition of gluttony.
