I'm just a 15 year old high school student in the Philadelphia suburbs with a love for food. I have an apprenticeship at Lacroix at the Rittenhouse, and will be writing about my experiences there, as well as anything else that strikes my palate.
Excellent use of peanut butter cups and fleur de sel! I liked how large it is when opened up so much that I cropped it to only show part of the in-focus foreground then made it my desktop of my office computer with the text caveat "Enlarged to show texture..." added.
You have a budding Donna Ruhlman at the house. The pic is great. There is something about your baking and plating that is so rustic that it makes the food seem that much better looking. Seeing the contrast of the elements in the finished product makes it easier to imagine the harmony of flavors.
