I'm just a 15 year old high school student in the Philadelphia suburbs with a love for food. I have an apprenticeship at Lacroix at the Rittenhouse, and will be writing about my experiences there, as well as anything else that strikes my palate.

Straight from the farm (not the stuff in the glass fruit bowl)
It's pretty cool they your using garden fresh vegtables for your cooking. I have little brothers that planted a garden and are using the food from it to cook, and they say it tastes a lot fresher.
Hey, I know blueberry season's coming up... thought I'd share this easy recipe with you: http://sweetandfair.wordpress.com/2009/07/04/blueberry-squares/ I linked to your blog too, hope you don't mind!
Oh man... CSA produce is THE BEST. There's a great farm in Chester County called Thornbury Farm. Their pick up is every Thursday and the selection is great (I know because my roommate works there and brings home the MOST incredible produce every week). Anyway, if you're not already over your head in produce, here are a few links about it. http://www.thornburyfarmcsa.org.ag/ http://www.localharvest.org/farms/M27924

What is it and what are you going to do with it?
My CSA's (in Colorado) produce was picked the previous day and still is covered in dirt. Yours looked lovely.
You really make me miss Lancaster County.
