I'm just a 15 year old high school student in the Philadelphia suburbs with a love for food. I have an apprenticeship at Lacroix at the Rittenhouse, and will be writing about my experiences there, as well as anything else that strikes my palate.

Bloggie awards
Looks like I've been nominated for best teen blog from the bloggie awards!!! Shoot me a vote. Thanks a bunch!
I found out what to do with chicken skin. I fry it like bacon. Medium heat, it will brown perfectly to a crunch and leave all the chicken fat behind. Then I drain it on a paper towel, crunch it into little tiny bits, and add it back to whatever recipe I'm going to make, usually a gravy, or casserole. OMG the flavor.
