Snack tomorrow
Just made my mid-morning snack for school tomorrow; popcorn popped in bacon fat then tossed with truffle salt. I'd take that over your standard apple anyday, though it may in fact, do the opposite of keeping the doctor away.
While I don't have truffle salt... or bacon fat... I do love popcorn! And I have my own seasoning I put on- something I picked up at our State Fair this past summer, of all places!!
Hey- not sure if you are in to this sort of thing, but I gave you a blog award over on my blog (Eternal Lizdom).
This is soo much better than the popcorn that comes in a microwavable package which is slathered with Diacetyl. Which will cause Bronchiolitis obliterans, according to Wikipedia. This is why you're supposed to eat real butter.
Oh, I still have no idea how truffles taste like. So I can't really imagine how the truffle salt goes with bacon fat. Heh, sounds good anyways. Mmmm...drools.
